The Sixth Sense brings an immersive festival to Bengaluru at festival scale

India is about to run its first immersive festival at festival scale, not gallery scale.

The Sixth Sense opens in Bengaluru on February 5, 2026, inside a 60-year-old glass factory converted into more than 200,000 square feet of stages and galleries. The programme pairs 30-plus art-tech experiences with six-plus live music performances, headlined by electronic composer Max Cooper on February 21. Organisers expect more than 35,000 attendees.

That is the number worth noting. A festival this size only gets built when a market has already shown up for smaller versions of the same idea.
